These works are inspired by the ancient Sanskrit treatise Saundarya Lahari, meaning “The Waves of Beauty,” traditionally attributed to Adi Shankara. The text celebrates the divine beauty and power of Goddess Parvati while integrating tantra, yantras, and ritual practices. Pandey’s artworks reinterpret these sacred traditions through hieroglyphic astrological symbols, yantras, and planetary transits of Pluto, Saturn, and Jupiter during 2020. Blending spirituality, cosmology, and contemporary visual language, the works explore the relationship between mysticism, time, and inner transformation. “Follow your bliss” remains central to the artistic vision.
